The ACEM Gold Award is a special award to recognise, honour and celebrate a member of ACEM, whether past or present, who has made significant contributions to the advancement and development of the engineering consultancy industry in the country. It is the highest Award that the Association can bestow upon an Engineer.

Malaysia’s Green Building Index
Malaysia’s Green Building Index was introduced on 3 January 2009, at the Green Design Forum organized by the Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM). A preview of the Green Building Index for Non-residential and Residential buildings were presented by Ir. Chen Thiam Leong and Ar. Chan Seong Aun respectively. ACEM Engineering Awards 2010
The ACEM Engineering Awards 2010 was organised in conjunction with the 47th Anniversary Dinner of the Association. The competition was open to ACEM Member Firms only and the Award symbolize dedication, innovation, perseverance and strong commitment in meeting engineering-consultancy excellence.

Update on Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) and Guide to Filling up CCC Forms
As of May 2008 Professional Engineers have issued 16 CCCs and Professional Architects have also issued about the same number.
