Objective

The seminar will attempt to bridge a gap between Geotechniques and Structures in this field. Bridge Engineers who are exclusively Structural Engineers can benefit from this seminar as material is presented in an easily accessible manner.

Retaining Structures such as quay walls and some forms of Reinforced Soil Structures will be discussed.

Target Audience

This seminar is aimed at Bridge Engineers who have less than 5 years working experience in Bridge Engineering.

Registration Fees

ACEM member firms: RM 400.00 per person
Others RM 500.00 per person
(payment through e-perolehan by Govt. depts.) RM 504.10 per person
10% discount for registration of 3 or more participants from the same firm. Fee covers course material, lunch & tea breaks.

Registration fee must be paid in Ringgit Malaysia by crossed cheque issued to ‘The Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia’.

Fee will not be refunded for any cancellation. However, substitution of participants can be arranged by informing the organiser at least one week before the seminar commences.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) & Professional Development Programme (PDP)

Update on Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) and Guide to Filling up CCC Forms
As of May 2008 Professional Engineers have issued 16 CCCs and Professional Architects have also issued about the same number.
