About the Seminar

Fire safety regulations and practices have been evolving over the years culminating in the implementation of the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) to be issued by the Principal Submitting Person. It is now the responsibility of the professional as the Submitting Person to ensure that the fire safety design complies with the latest regulations, standards and practices. This seminar aims to update and refresh knowledge for all stakeholders to bring them up to speed. The seminar will look into the latest design and practices in Fire safety engineering as detailed in the program.

The topics are targeted at all those involved with fire safety design including Approving Agencies, Architects, M&E Consultants, Developers, Contractors and Building Owners. This seminar will provide the guidelines on latest design practices and submission requirements that will help reduce incidences of rejection and non-compliance with Bomba requirements.

Registration Fees

ACEM member firms: RM 400.00 per person
LAM/IFEM/IEM/PAM members / Bomba officers: RM 400.00 per person
Others RM 450.00 per person
(payment through e-perolehan by Govt. depts.) RM 453.70 per person

Registration fee must be paid in Ringgit Malaysia by crossed cheque issued to ‘The Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia’. Fee will not be refunded for any cancellation. However, substitution of participant can be arranged by informing the organiser one week before the event.

Continuing Professional Development

Update on Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) and Guide to Filling up CCC Forms
As of May 2008 Professional Engineers have issued 16 CCCs and Professional Architects have also issued about the same number.
