Fire safety regulations and practices are constantly evolving with the widening implementation of UBBL 2012 among the states, the introduction of Malaysia Standard for fire pumps and new requirements for ‘Sistem Pengawasan Kebakaran Automatik (SPKA)’. It is the responsibility of the professionals as well as the contractors to ensure that the fire safety design and installation complies with the latest regulations, standards and practices. This seminar will look into the latest practices covering the following aspects:
- Requirements for compliance with MS2616–Fire Pumps;
- Latest comparison of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems;
- Interface requirements of the new SPKA system;
- Surge protection for fire safety systems;
- Proper testing and commissioning of fire safety systems.
The topics are targeted at all those involved with fire safety design and installation including, approving agencies, M&E consultants, developers and contractors. This seminar will elaborate on the latest design and installation practices.
