The Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM) invites qualified applicants for education sponsorship to pursue an undergraduate course in engineering at a local university recognized by the Board of Engineers, Malaysia.
Malaysia’s Green Building Index was introduced on 3 January 2009, at the Green Design Forum organized by the Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM). A preview of the Green Building Index for Non-residential and Residential buildings were presented by Ir. Chen Thiam Leong and Ar. Chan Seong Aun respectively. The ACEM Gold Award is a special award to recognise, honour and celebrate a member of ACEM, whether past or present, who has made significant contributions to the advancement and development of the engineering consultancy industry in the country. It is the highest Award that the Association can bestow upon an Engineer.
The ACEM Engineering Awards 2008 was organised in conjunction with the 45th Anniversary Dinner of the Association. The competition was open to ACEM Member Firms only and the Award symbolize dedication, innovation, perseverance and strong commitment in meeting engineering-consultancy excellence.
Briefing Notes for Practising Engineers: Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC)
1. Effective Date of CCC The Prime Minister has on 13th April 2007 announced officially that CCC, OSC (One Stop Centre), COB (Commissioner of Buildings) and Built and Sell (10:90) will take effect on 12th April 2007 and that all Acts and regulations have been put in place for their implementation. The Government is committed to give intensive training to all the local authorities and related agencies for 2 months for their effective implementation.

The two-day “Conference to improve the delivery system of government services - to improve the development processes as well as property management ” was held at Sunway Lagoon Hotel Ballroom and launched by the Hon. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on 13th April 2007. The issuance of the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) by professionals was launched on the same day.
Suara Perunding welcomes original or unpublished contributions that focus on engineering topic or discussion on diverse issues and views concerning the profession. Articles should cover domestic and international engineering developments. Manuscripts submission is open to all ACEM members and non-members worldwide.
